Scottish fare

To date we have eaten....

Oatcakes - always liked them

Cullen Skink - a soup made from potato cream onions and smoked haddock - yum!!!!!

Aberdeen Angus beef - now commanding a premium due to it being the only breed of cow in Britain that has not been subject to mad cow disease

Smoked wild salmon - very good

Butter shortbread - excellent

Still to be tried..............

Skirlie - oatmeal fried up with onions and thyme

Haggis

Potato farls
